Television
She started her career with the TV serial Shagun where she did not have a big role to play. She was then seen in Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr where she played the role of a girl who was harassed by her relatives. She was then seen and noticed in Remix where she played the role of a rich, beauty conscious girl, and was in a negative character in Amber Dhara.
Shweta also hosted the dance show on Star One Zara Nachke Dikha. She has joined the famous soap Dil Mill Gaye on Star One as an intern who happens to be Dr.Armaan’s friend.
Movies
She has acted recently in Romilla Mukherjee's comedy movie Detective Naani with Amit Verma, Ankur Nayyar and Ava Mukherjee.
